After years of working in the news media industry and working alongside those who have high profile jobs in law enforcement, anti-terrorism and intelligence units; Jeannine Kuhnell draws on her experiences from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and a later a DoD Contractor as Spy-catcher and US Government Counterintelligence Sr. Official when crafting her novels. She wrote The Overcomers while working as a member of the Domestic Terrorism Squad at the FBI. The cases and people she worked with, are the inspiration for this book series.
She is also a former K-9 handler, breeder and trainer of explosive detection K-9’s, as well as a reporter and news anchor. Jeannine developed Counterintelligence and Communications associated training curriculum currently in use by the US government.
Jeannine believes the Overcomers are “Children of Light” called to be soldiers and warriors for a dynamic purpose. Their honor and devotion to God, to one another, and to their cause is a revelation to the reader of the realities of a heaven to earth spiritual connection. A deeply passionate woman, she is involved in her community with a mission to make ready Overcomers through her Texas Renaissance Woman activities and serves as the Director of Israel Outreach, for Lights Church in Fort Worth, Texas. She lives and manages her hobby ranch in Weatherford, Texas with her family.
A Texas Renaissance woman through and through, with so many eclectic interests, she didn’t really set out to be an author but had a never-ending story that needed to come out. She came out with her new latest novel the first week of February 2021.
The book is a suspense thriller set in Israel. It’s also a little bit of a love story and a tale of her alter ego who gets drawn out of her humdrum life as a reporter and thrust into the world of counterterrorism with a cadre of former government agents. And the one thing they all have in common, they are more than survivors, they are Overcomers.
